Many thanks to CloserStill, eCommerce Expo and IMRG for their on-going support and to the record number of entrants, sponsors, media and association partners, judges and online viewers that supported our inaugural Virtual Awards in 2020!
We have everything crossed that we will be able to celebrate face to face and to party again this year. If this is not possible to do safely, then we will once again go Virtual. Either way, we guarantee that your entries will be reviewed, judged and scored by our independent panel of expert judges and you will have a fair and equal chance of success, combined with the positive PR that goes hand in hand with being a Finalist or a Winner.
To this end, we are very pleased to have received independent endorsement from The Independent Awards Standards Council for our independent judging process, with the presentation of the Awards Trust Mark. Please continue to enter with the confidence that your entries will be treated honestly and fairly, regardless of status or commercial interest.
We don’t just run them, we enter them too! We are very pleased to announce that eCommerce Awards has been shortlisted for 'Best Experience on the Night' at the Awards Awards – very well done to all the team!
Now in their thirteenth year, eCommerce Awards has consistently broken new ground in highlighting the very best that your sector has to offer. For 2021, we have completely reviewed the categories and made a large number of additions and changes to enhance the offering.
Split into INDUSTRY, MARKETING AND ENGAGEMENT, SPECIALIST, WEBSITE and BUSINESS sections, we have something for everyone across the different disciplines, so ensure you check out the full 2021 category list and enter all that are applicable to you, your teams and your company at www.ecommerceawards.london/categories/
The last year has been like no other in living memory. It’s accelerated a transformation of the eCommerce sector, with companies from all industries stepping up their digital strategies to meet changing customer demands and lifestyles. In a period of so many ‘firsts’, the various lockdown restrictions and store closures drove customers online like never before – driving the biggest impact on attitudes to online purchasing.
So, how did your company make progress in such a challenging and yet exciting time? We want to find the best of the best in eCommerce – whether you are an independent artisan retailer finding your feet for the first time, or a big eCommerce brand needing to shift your priorities, tell us what made the last 12 months a success for you?
The event is open to all retailers, relevant agencies, marketers and any company who trades online unless specified in the category. Use the Awards to shout about your achievements and ensure you reap the rewards from the PR and sales uplift that comes hand in hand as a result of a successful entry or two. If you are an agency, supplier or commercial partner, and you have really delivered over the last year for your client, put in joint entries with your client today and both of you can benefit from your hard work and achievements.
In ‘normal’ times, every year hundreds of your industry's key players gather to recognise and honour the brilliant achievements of their peers. Not only do the Awards provide great networking opportunities, the evening is also a great social occasion. Previous hosts have included Ben Hanlin, Rob Beckett, Alistair McGowan, Danny Wallace and Katherine Ryan.
Previous participating companies have included large, medium and small organisations including: Adobe, American Express, AO.com, Argos, ASOS, B&Q, BarclayCard, British Gas, BT, Canon Europe, Celtic FC, Clarks, Denby, Dixons Carphone, Domino's, Dreams, EE, Fortnum & Mason, Green Man Gaming, Halfords, Heal’s, Hewlett-Packard, HMV, Iceland Foods, Jack Daniels, Jack Wills, Jewson, John Lewis, Lego, Lidl, Lloyds Banking Group, MasterCard, Moss Bros, National Trust, O2, Ocado, Post Office, QVC, Red Bull, Royal Mail, Samsung, Santander, Schuh, Selfridges, Sky, Sony, Tate, The Trainline, Thomas Cook, Three, Time INC, Trustpilot, Very, Virgin, Vodafone, Wagamama, Wickes, Yotel to name but a few ...
To encourage multiple entries this year, we have a fixed price for multiple entries of only £295 + VAT per company for up to 3 entries, and only £495 + VAT for 4 entries or more. So, you are encouraged to enter as many categories as are applicable to you, your colleagues and your teams. Remember, the more categories you enter, the better your chance of multiple success on the night!
Help is at hand! We’ve teamed up with awards experts Boost Awards (the world’s first and largest award entry consultancy), who can help you with your entry. They can offer either of the following:
A FREE consultation – a 30 minute call to help you decide what your story should be, your strongest angle and the evidence you need to gather to quantify the results. This doesn’t include any follow-up notes or deliverables.
A ‘starter for ten’ for £500 + VAT – a one hour call to explore your story, after which Boost will draft a ‘storyboard’ for your entry within a week. This document will provide you with a recommended structure to align your story with all the elements of the entry form and the scoring system. It will make it far easier to create a clear, well structured, focused entry that wows the judges.
