The Poppy Shop is the Royal British Legion’s official charity gift shop, selling jewellery, clothing and home and gift products. The profit generated supports the Legion in providing lifelong support for the Armed forces community – serving men and women, veterans and their families.
This year, the Poppy Shop has commissioned 60,083 poppy lapel pins to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Passchendaele, also known as the Third Battle of Ypres. Each pin is made from British brass shell fuses used during the battle and earth found on the front line.
